Mr. Alex Park is a Managing Director at SC First Bank in charge of Corporate Sales.  SC First Bank is a local subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank which is a fast growing multinational bank with strong footprints in Korea, China, India, Middle East and Africa.  Mr. Park is responsible for managing group of staffs whose role is consulting, designing and providing financial solutions to clients who are in need for innovative and structured solutions to meet their funding, investing and hedging needs.  The client base includes major Korean conglomerates, medium size local companies as well as local subsidiaries of multinational companies operating in Korea.

Mr. Park started his career in New York as a currency and interest rates trader working for Citibank & UBS covering number of different countries and asset classes.  Later, he moved to Zurich and London focusing on Eastern European countries then returned to Korea in 1998 to manage the trading team in Citibank Seoul.  Mr. Park became the head of Citibank's Financial Market Group in Seoul in 2000 responsible for Sales & Trading as well as Debt Capital Market team at Smith Barney Salomon Brother. Later, he assumed the Country Head role of Citigroup Private Bank and played vital role in a landmark M & A project acquiring KorAm Bank.  Mr. Park joined SC First Bank in 2006 and built one of the most successful derivative teams in the country.  With combined experience in different countries and working with diverse client bases, Mr. Park has excellent leadership well as exceptional product knowledge base.

Alex is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor degree in Economics.  Later, he obtained MBA degree from New York University (Stern School of Business) and recently came back from executive training program in SAID School of Business at Oxford University.  Besides his family and career, he is occupied his leisure time with various hobbies and community works.
